Supporting Australia’s Young Veterans

Mat is passionate about the wellbeing of the current generation of war veterans, and works closely with charities and support groups that assist contemporary veterans. In 2015 Mat launched ‘Australians Joining Forces’, an initiative that seeks opportunities to assist veterans and help them transition to civilian life.

More than 60,000 Australian service men and women served in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. There are now more veterans in the Australian community than at any time since the Vietnam War.

‘Australians Joining Forces’ will assist contemporary veterans to find work once they leave the Defence Force, and to help make their transition out of the military less stressful for them and their families.

Australians Joining Forces

The foundation will also raise funds for our partners including RSL Life Care and Defence Care, who require desperate funding to continue their invaluable grassroots work. 100% of all funds raised are passed on in full.
